kikki.K opens first retail store in Asia

Fashion stationery label kikki.K has opened its first store in Asia at Singapore’s ION Orchard shopping centre, with over 20,000 shoppers visiting the flagship store during its first week of trade.
kikki.K founder Kristina Karlsson says she’s enjoying her first foray into Asia.
“Entering Singapore is another exciting phase for kikki.K, and the response is already exceeding our expectations,” she said.
“We’ve been completely overwhelmed by the reaction from local shoppers... and look forward to further local and international expansion.”
Soon Su Lin, CEO of Orchard Turn Developments says she is pleased to welcome Asia’s first kikki.K boutique to Singapore at ION Orchard, a 640,000 square feet retail development.
“kikki.K’s stylish and contemporary products and designs fit perfectly with ION Orchard’s positioning to offer high quality and innovative retail concepts to our shoppers,” she said.
“kikki.K’s prominent location at ION Orchard will allow this new-to-market brand to enjoy high brand visibility and exposure for their first boutique in Asia.”
The move into Asia follows eight years of growth for the Melbourne-based retailer; from one boutique in Melbourne in 2001 to over 40 across Australia and New Zealand by this Christmas.
