Inaugural Sydney concept store in the pipeline for Apple & Bee
[Wed 27/01/2010 11:02:21]
Fashion-forward Australian wholesale company Apple & Bee has announced it will open its first concept store later this year in Sydney, which will house its major product lines and accessories.
The move marks a significant milestone for Apple & Bee, which was established by Brett Pattinson, founder of the organic skincare ranges bod and bod for bubs, and his friend Claire Morris, former art director at marie claire and an eminent designer.
The Apple & Bee concept store is forecast to stock the company’s range of organic cosmetic, travel, fashion and baby bags as well as a new range of certified organic skincare lines, which will be launched later this year.
Apple & Bee will also introduce a new range of children’s satchels and organic cotton designer tote bags in February, which will most likely feature in the concept store alongside existing ranges.
The company was fortunate enough to escape the global tendency towards a downturn last year and is now in good stead to play host to an array of new retail and wholesale opportunities.
“Our milestone for this year is that we doubled our previous year’s turnover,” says Claire Morris. “In hard times we feel that this is a pretty big achievement.”
In addition to its numerous other developments, Apple & Bee also recently extended its range to include a new sub-line of women’s clothing entitled Honey, which is stocked in Sussan stores across Australia and New Zealand.
