Valued at up to $16,994, the Yaris was the first car to be offered at Home and Giving Fairs. Everyone had the chance to win simply by placing an order of $1,000 or more for Grosvenor products before 1 November 2009. The winner has now been drawn and Peter McGrath of Arrowmaster Giftware is the lucky owner of the car.
"Congratulations to Peter McGrath and all the team at Arrowmaster Giftware,” said Paul McGuire, chief executive officer, McPherson’s Consumer Products.
“We are committed to supporting the independent housewares market. The response to the re-launch of our Grosvenor brand has been extremely positive and we look forward to the brand's continued growth," he advised.
McGrath was really surprised with his win.
“I can't believe we won – you hear about people winning these competitions all the time but you never think it will happen to you,” he said.
“Arrowmaster Giftware has had a successful relationship with McPherson's Consumer Products for over 25 years. We purchased the new Grosvenor range as it was a great way to buy quality product that represented great value for money. The brand also has selective distribution.”
Grosvenor first came onto the market in 1928. Its range of contemporary homewares products is available through a selective distribution strategy, with the successful brand only being available in department stores and at independent retailers.
