Fisher-Price announces plans to develop new line of Angelina Ballerina toys
“Fisher-Price is a world class toy company and the best partner to bring creative, quality Angelina Ballerina toys to the global stage,” says Jeff Dunn, president and chief executive officer of HIT Entertainment.
“Angelina Ballerina [has been] a beloved publishing property for more than 25 years. With her new CG-animated series being enthusiastically embraced by parents and children around the world, we look forward to working with Fisher-Price to create toys that will enhance the Angelina experience, and grow the long-term business for this brand.”
The Angelina Ballerina brand is targeted at girls aged between four and seven, and the new range of toys will include figures, dolls, play sets, dollhouses, vehicles, plush toys and preschool toys such as electronic learning and development aids.
The initial launch is due to take place in the US, with a worldwide rollout of the licensed merchandise planned for 2011.
