Gingerlilly to launch new collections at July Sydney Home & Giving fair
“We have significantly expanded the women’s range to include playful shorty sets, which are very fashionable at the moment,” says Vanessa Sofia, the creative mind behind the Gingerlilly brand.
“We have also introduced modal to our summer range since it has been so popular for winter.”
Gingerlilly was launched in 2006 and rocketed into the spotlight with its fashionable men’s, women’s, children’s and babies’ pyjama sets that are presented in upholstered keepsake boxes in matching fabrics.
Sofia, whose background is in design and who worked for Prada in Milan and with Australia’s Country Road prior to establishing Gingerlilly, has significantly expanded her fashionable product ranges in the four years since Gingerlilly was launched.
“Inspiration comes from what is happening in ladies’ fashion and translating it to sleepwear,” she explains.
Gingerlilly currently distributes its sleepwear to New Zealand, Switzerland and Japan as well as wholesaling to an extensive network of Australian retailers.
“We also send many personal orders to London, USA, Canada, Singapore and Dubai,” Sofia says.
New product category launches are planned for 2011 with samples currently being finalised by the Gingerlilly team.
