Overwhelming demand for Belly Art's Inkless Print Birth Certificates

Debuting its innovative products at the Melbourne Reed Gift Fair last August, Belly Art unveiled with great success its new Inkless Print Birth Certificate kit, which allows parents to take hand and footprints of babies and record the details of their birth including name, date, time, weight, length and place of birth.
Belly Art’s marketing manager Nikki Thomas describes the positive demand as “overwhelming”.
“We were a little unsure of what to expect as it was our first ever trade show and of course we hoped for a lot of interest, especially in the Inkless Print Birth Certificate, but to have picked up as many new customers and triple our sales volume – all our expectations were well and truly exceeded,” she says.
The Inkless Print Birth Certificate kit uses specially treated archival paper to preserve children’s hand and footprints in a safe, non-toxic way.
“Unlike any other baby keepsake on the market, Belly Art’s Inkless Print Birth Certificate uses a revolutionary print taking system that in no way uses ink or paint to capture a perfectly detailed image,” Thomas explains.
“Lots of other print taking concepts claim to be ink or paint free but in fact they still use some form of liquid to take the print. Belly Art’s Inkless Print system is just that, inkless.”
Designed and packaged in Melbourne, the different components of the kit are presented in a cylindrical tube that is ideal for mailing, making it a gift that can be easily transported interstate or overseas.
Inkless Print Birth Certificate kits retail for a recommended $29.95 and Belly Art specialises in a range of inkless products for children.
