Fresh promotional campaign for Reed Gift Fairs

[Mon 21/11/2011 04:11:10]

Reed Gift Fairs has launched a creative campaign to inject energy and enthusiasm back into the Australian retail sector.

The new look promotional theme is a move away from the standard product photos of the past and instead features Alice in Wonderland inspired images to be seen at the first four fairs of next year. It will also be used in marketing, on the website and in social media.

Reed believes the new year is the perfect time to kick off a campaign to revive Australian retail.

Exhibition director Steve Steenson, who took over the role from Omer Soker in November, says the campaign is about bringing optimism back to the sector.

“Our new creative aims to embrace and encourage this upward trend and support the fun and enjoyable environment found at Reed Gift Fairs,” he says. “We are thrilled with the end result and look forward carrying this theme through what is certain to be an exciting time ahead for the retail industry.

“We’re very excited about the promising trends that have been appearing as of late and it’s a great thing to see the retail industry fighting back after what has been a challenging 12 months.”

The 2012 Sydney September Fair – which was revealed on Australian Giftguide online to be getting a makeover – will be part of a unique campaign with a specific creative theme in the coming months.
