Thermomix hits sales record

[Tue 13/12/2011 10:29:53]

Multi-functional kitchen appliance Thermomix has just hit 50,000 sales capping off a big year for the business during which it also signed up its 1,000th consultant.

It has even got the social media world buzzing with blogs and recipe sharing websites created in honour of the product.

This comes as Thermomix Australia gets set to launch a new campaign to increase its direct sales team by 1,000 in 2012.

“With a new office in Melbourne and our Perth base, Thermomix is in an ideal position to grow the business in 2012,” says managing director Grace Mazur.

“What excites me is we are not only saving families’ time and money in the kitchen but are inspiring people to run their own successful small business. Thermomix offers flexibility, incredible rewards and a supportive community – that’s why our workforce is booming.”

The first product was brought into Australia a decade ago and today 72 machines are sold each day. It combines the functions of 10 different appliances in one unit.
