Faye-Ligui signs with local distributor

[Tue 21/02/2012 10:15:22]

DNS Supply has been appointed the Australian distributor for stainless steel designer kitchen and homewares brand Faye-Ligui and will launch several of its products at the Sydney Home & Giving Fair.

Founder and designer Wim Maex selected DNS Supply after reviewing the market, retail and the products fit with the wholesaler’s current brand offering.

Sales director Simon Hage says the range is a great match for his business. “Having an eclectic collection of practical designer pieces already, as well as being recognised within the market as experienced in this genre, DNS Supply is a natural fit for the Faye-Ligui range,” he says.

“Faye-Ligui is [also] a natural fit for the Australian and New Zealand markets. The quality, style and finish are good attributes, as is being price competitive and innovative with new designs specifically suited to our tastes.”

Supplying the brand to the local market means Australian consumers have access to a unique product range unlike much of what is on the market, according to Hage.

“As one of Europe's leading innovative designers, having access to this range within Australia recognises the level of interest and more importantly demand for such qualities.

“Already, there is too much replication of existing homeware styles in our market, and being so close to the Asian manufacturing sector, Australia often becomes the recipient of non original product, oft replicated product and not enough new, innovative, well designed and original pieces. Faue-Ligui specialise in the practical, functional and essentially original way in which art, design and innovation can come together,” he explains.

The brand looks to have already generated plenty of interest and is sure to win more fans when it debuts at the Home & Giving Fair this weekend.

“We are very excited to partner Faye-Ligui on the launch of the range of Stainless Steel designer kitchen and homeware pieces at the upcoming GHA fair at Homebush Bay,” adds Hage.

“Already the pre-release interest has been phenomenal with initial shipments being snapped up. Luckily, as an artisan producer, Wim Maex of Faye-Ligui has a steady team of workers set to produce for this thirsty market.”
