Big Balloon appointed local distributor for Peppa Pig

 Toy supplier Big Balloon has signed on as the distributor for toy products relating to popular kids TV series Peppa Pig.
The Victorian based business will supply a range of products from international partners such as Character Options and Ty.
Big Balloon is thrilled to be named Peppa Pig’s Australian partner and expects big things for the brand down under.
“We are very excited to partner with eOne, Merchantwise and Character Options on the launch of Peppa Pig,” says Chris Loverso, Big Balloon sales and marketing director.
“With Peppa Pig the number one girls’ preschool brand in the UK for the past three years, we believe with the right attention, Peppa Pig can become a real surprise packet in the Australian market and a stable long-term brand."
The series, about a cheeky pig that lives with her family and goes on lots of happy adventures, currently airs twice a day on ABC2. It is among the highest rating preschool shows on Australian television.
Penguin has been named the brand’s publishing partner in Australia.
