Distributor partners with happiness book duo for greeting card range

[Mon 06/02/2012 02:30:28]

The Aird Group has gone into collaboration with the couple behind best-seller The Little Book of Happiness for an animal inspired greeting card collection.

General manager Christine Cook decided to partner with David and Heidi Cuschieri from The Next Big Think company for their inaugural and future card ranges after discovering their publication, which is in its fourth reprint within just 12 months of its launch.

“When I read David and Heidi’s Little Book of Happiness, I recognised that they had an exceptional eye for aesthetics and a purity of message that was instantly engaging and I thought it would translate well to a card range,” she says.

The Creature Comforts cards feature gorgeous animal photos alongside inspirational messages. Cards are square shaped and blank inside with information about the animal on the back.

Gold Coast hinterlands based David and Heidi have a wealth of experience between them in areas such as design and marketing but both have a passion for art. The pair developed the cards with their passion for animals in mind and drew on their life experiences to come up with the messages for each design.

“We want to create a lifestyle that allows us to live, work and play anywhere in the world, creating and spreading our unique brand of happiness,” says David.

“We send out a wish with each card so that it changes the giver’s and the receiver’s life in some small way. Be it putting a smile on their faces or cheering them up, it is these little moments in our day that make life grand.

“Our aim is to create a lifestyle that allows us to live, work and play anywhere in the world, creating and spreading our unique brand of happiness.”

Cook believes the combination of emotive animal photos and inspirational text will be a huge draw card for consumers.

“We are very confident that the unique styling and contemporary inspirational messages embodied in the Creature Comforts card range will have strong appeal to a broad cross section of customers across Australia,” she adds.
