This year sees the inspirational range of Kruseling fairy dolls expand with the girls’ favourite interests being shared with a new collection of dolls and outfits. Sofia has taken up gardening, Vera is dancing, Chloe is painting, Joy is playing basketball, Michael has been active playing soccer and Luna is loving her tennis.

Keeping up with the latest trends and what’s new in children’s fashion, dollmaker Sonja Hartmann styles the range based on this and her belief that, “the world is open to you when you pursue your goals with a true heart, self-confidence and belief in yourself, in your family and in your friends”. 

This is the foundation of why the range has been created. Though the story of the Kruselings is one of friendship, togetherness and teamwork, each member has her own story to tell. Luna, Vera, Sofia, Joy and Chloe know that with their unique and combined talents they can face every challenge together.

The dolls are part of an epic storyline launched for Christmas last year by premium German doll manufacturer Kathe Kruse. It revolves around a group of children, hailing from different nations and ethnic backgrounds, who are able to crossover from the world of reality to the world of fantasy. They can transform from their ordinary human forms into a band of fairylike super heroic characters called the Kruselings.

This collection of 23cm dolls, which are fashioned on a 7-year-old child, each feature 13 joints which makes them amazingly posable and they stand well whether in shoes or barefoot. They have high quality acrylic glass eyes, which give them a life-like expression, their faces are sweet and fresh and their hair can be combed and styled so they can really be enjoyed.

Targeting 4 to 7 year olds, the girl fairies come in deluxe packs featuring them in their fairy outfit with the magical tool and wings, and a day change of outfit. They also come in a different set of casual outfits in a single doll pack with a hair brush. Magical tools and fairy clothes are also sold separately, each beautifully themed and packaged.

They are now complemented by a dress up outfit in each of the fairies styles and available in three sizes.

Kathe Kruse has designed a wonderful point of sale display complete with built-in short movie and a range of complementing collateral in the form of a story book, sticker books, postcards, bookmarks and gift bags. The range is also being actively promoted through social media to educate consumers on the characters and their lifestyles.
