Sunday Minx makes wholesale a priority

After launching late last year, towel brand Sunday Minx has turned its attention to wholesale to help its products reach more Australian homes.

“We would love to see our products in any store that celebrates design, quality and an appreciation for beautiful things,” says Sunday Minx founder Brooke Rudzis.

“We want to make it easy for stylish home owners to learn about us, understand our philosophy and enjoy using our towels. Working with established and trusted stores will truly assist us with this goal.”

A meeting with media mogul Rupert Murdoch convinced former News Corp employee Rudzis to begin Sunday Minx after considering it for a number of years.

“He told me many stories about enormous risks that he has taken over the years and they were in fact the most rewarding and pivotal moments of his life,” says Rudzis. “Little did he know that he had just convinced me that it was time to focus on making Sunday Minx a reality.”

The towels are designed by Rudzis, who focuses on creating a vibrant aesthetic that reflects the Australian lifestyle, and then manufactured with high quality cotton in Turkey.

She is inspired by everything from art and fashion to food and nature. “Focusing on just one theme can be my biggest challenge when thinking about new designs,” she explains.

With a background in sales, advertising and media, Rudzis has developed a set of brand values to steer Sunday Minx in the right direction including quality, an unpretentious approach to design, and playful sophistication.

“Essentially, we want people to proudly own Sunday Minx products and enjoy the indulgence of using them each and every day,” she says.

Sunday Minx debuted at Life Instyle Melbourne, which Rudzis says was an amazing experience, with retailers impressed by the softness of the towels. “We met passionate, like-minded retailers, business owners and interior designers who appreciate and applaud new brands and products in the market.

“There are hundreds of stunning stores across the country with inspiring edits and unique aesthetics. We hope to soon be a stockist to many of these great stores.”

Looking to the future, Rudzis hopes to take Sunday Minx global and continue to spread the word about her brand. “We believe we have a beautiful product, a great brand message and bucket loads of enthusiasm,” she adds.

Rudzis is currently working on a new collection to be released in time for Christmas this year.
